The Xmas season is here again and Helen wishes you a joyous time and a healthy and prosperous 2016

Pause and take a thought for Jewellers at this time of year it is a very busy time

THE PLANNING.

For me, the planning of my Xmas Show starts in the summer when I look for interesting “source material” as inspiration for my new collection of designer, contemporary jewellery.
It is an exciting and stimulating time when I experiment with new materials and techniques and create ideas to use in both my contemporary and designer ranges of jewellery.
This year I was excited to add Perspex to my coloured contemporary range of designer necklaces. I Lazer Cut the Perspex shapes and hand dyed each individual shape to create beautiful colour combinations. The options for creativity in colour are now limitless
For several years I have been experimenting with the colours of Anodised Aluminium and have created my Dual Jewel range of designer necklaces and brooches but now I have a new range of exciting coloured contemporary necklaces in Rubber and Perspex to add to that.

Xmas may be a busy time for jewellers but it is also a very stimulating and exciting time.
