Comments Off on Progress is made. Day 2. Studio Revamp
Argh! I’ve commissions to do and this is how my studio looks.
Day 2. Studio Revamp.
I’ve kept a little corner of sanity where my old workbench is, I’ll have to hide away there and let the men get on with it around me.
Old settee is out, of course damp been discovered! Why can’t things ever just be straight forward ?
An added job as I’ll need to have that fixed- that explains the funny smell and mildew!!

Installation of the water started today.
I should have done this years ago instead of waiting until my lovely garden was well established. The builders assure me that it will be put back as good as new. Here’s hoping!

Another important day looming on the calendar – Fathers Day!
The annual present debate everyone has, what will I get my dad? Socks, chocs, wine!
Why don’t you get him something that he can keep, something special. Bespoke cufflinks which can be personalised, a fantastic Kilt Pin with special message. A silver or gold designer finger ring, something for his neck or a lapel pin of a special hobby.
The possibilities go on and on and will solve a problem for years to come as you can keep adding to his range!
Please take a look at www.hswanjewellery.co.uk or you can contact me for a bespoke collection of specially designed pieces.

Comments Off on Thinking of getting married soon?
Are thinking of getting married soon, then you may find this article very useful.
It talks of current trends in wedding and engagement rings and takes the mistery out of all those strange jewellery terms: ring shank, bevelled edge ring, court wedding rings, to name a few.
If you would like to know more about wedding and engagement rings, just email me. I haven’t been teaching jewellery and silversmithing for 30 years without discovering a thing or two.
To create a Bespoke Wedding and Engagement Ring is not as expensive as you imagine it to be. I don’t have the overheads that high street shops have, and your design is unique with your own special input.

Trial run for a surprise engagement. Fortunately the lady said yes so on to the real one now!
The Engagement Ring will be in white gold with a yellow gold setting holding a Ruby. The Wedding Ring will fit into the Engagement Ring.
As white gold is grey in colour it is usually Rodium Plated to give it a brightness similar to silver.
